100 Organizations 100,000 Women One Voice New York Women's Agenda ("NYWA") was founded in 1992 by Elinor Guggenheimer to bring major women's groups together under one umbrella and raise awareness in political, economic and cultural circles of what women and their families need to thrive. Today, as a coalition of over 100 diverse women's organizations, representing professional, educational, civic, economic, and neighborhood-based interests, we continue to collaborate to achieve common goals on issues affecting women and their families. Nearly 100,000 women who belong to these various organizations find their collective voices are stronger because of their affiliation with NYWA.

Our empowerment partners make great strides for young women and girls by helping them develop the business acumen and special skills that can translate to business opportunities. NAWBO-NYC provides them with speakers for conferences and publicity of their events as a public service.

Trendsetters mission is to form alliances with women's professional and cultural organizations, educators, and organizations serving girls and youth to foster the enrollment of girls in nontraditional career fields and to positively impact the perceptions of women in these fields by highlighting the value of their contributions and expanding their visibility. Trendsetters is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Womens History Month Conference for Girls on Nontraditional Careers on Saturday, March 25, 2006. The 2006 program will be hosted at The Hunter College Campus School on Park Avenue and 94th Street, Manhattan.
