I joined NAWBO when I repositioned myself from Geri Stengel freelancer serving large companies to Stengel Solutions serving emerging companies and nonprofits that really use the strategic guidance I provide. I immediately got involved in NAWBO-NYC by joining a committee and later was recruited to be on the Board. I'm now the organization’s Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee.
NAWBO-NYC has been an amazing resource for me. I formed strategic partnerships, launched a business, found sounding boards, broadened my skill set by being on the board, sourced referrals and made friends. It truly has been a joy being part of this organization.

 NAWBO has not only been a source of business for me, but more importantly, a resource. As a graphic designer, I frequently partner up with others to complete projects for my clients. Since I joined NAWBO-NYC two years ago, I've had the pleasure of building great relationships with several members, and we have successfully completed client work together.
