MAY 23 EVENT DETAILS

“Get Clear on Your Vision & Mission: Creating the Business and Life You Really Want.”

Keynote Speaker: Hillary Carlip, Celebrated Author of Queen of the Oddballs and Girl Power

The New York Times writes that Hillary Carlip’s curriculum vitae “reads like a Cliffs Notes version of American popular culture.”

A successful entrepreneur from the age of 14, when she performed a comedy juggling/fire eating act at clubs throughout Los Angeles, Hillary has focused her unique talents into several successful careers—and enjoyed it every step of the way.

She is an author, performance artist and screenwriter for several major studios. She founded her own record label (which released the cult hit Buffy Come Back) and co- founded VOXXY, the acclaimed interactive network for teenage girls.

She is the host and editor of FRESH YARN: The Online Salon for Personal Essays and has her own web design and production firm, Fly HC.

She has also been the juggling coach for J.J. “Dy-no-mite” Walker, performed with the Flying Karamozov Brothers and was a winning contestant on The Gong Show.

Come hear Hillary’s amazing and highly entertaining story of how she became a successful (and colorful) entrepreneur, even if it was, in her own words, “unaccording to plan.”

Then join our interactive workshop as we explore ways to help you create the business and life you really want.

  • Discover your unique talents and strengths, and uncover your true desires
  • Tools to find your purpose and path
  • Successfully express who you really are
  • Focus your essence into your business
  • Commit to your purpose and enjoy every step along the way to fulfilling it
  • Create your personal mission statement

REGISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
All attendees must be registered 24 hours prior to the time and date of each event. This applies to both online and offline registration. We host our events at various locations and the venue security is often very tight. If your name is not on the door list for security clearance, we cannot guarantee that you will be admitted. Please make sure you register at least the day before each event.

Member's Comment
My membership has paid off in so many ways. The three Signature Awards Programs I designed helped bring in several new clients. And my involvement with updating the current NAWBO-NYC website has generated a major project and an office space for my company.
