CORPORATE SPONSORS
The Corporate Sponsor Committee seeks to secure corporate partners that will provide financial support to NAWBO-NYC, enabling the chapter to fund its operations, programs, events and services.

What We Do: Because NAWBO-NYC offers its activities and services free or at deeply discounted fees to its members and other constituents, the Sponsor Committee raises a substantial amount of money each year from corporate partners that helps to offset the annual costs of delivering on the chapter’s mission.

Because of this mandate, the committee develops strategic fund-raising plans that target large corporations and mid-sized businesses that are keenly interested in cultivating women business owners. Armed with good market research and a menu of NAWBO-NYC’s funding opportunities, the committee then approaches targeted corporations with the hope of developing a mutually beneficial sponsorship. It is also the committee’s role to nurture these relationships by ensuring that our partner’s goals are being fulfilled throughout the year by providing them with ongoing attention and support.

What We Need: We want to create a team of members who are committed to being a sales force and ambassadors for NAWBO-NYC. It would be helpful if your professional background included experience in any one of the following areas: corporate relations, sales and marketing, business development, customer service and market research.

FIRSTFIFTY

What We Do: The Corporate Partnership Committee created the FirstFifty to allow members to make an affordable contribution to support our organization. In turn, FirstFifty members will receive ongoing opportunities for increased name recognition (and potential business growth) by having their company listed in various NAWBO-NYC materials and events. For more details, please visit FirstFifty.

What We Need: The committee needs Team Leader to head up this exciting initiative.

When and Where We Meet: Contact VP of Development for more details.

Member's Comment
NAWBO-NYC has been an amazing resource for me. I formed strategic partnerships, launched a business, found sounding boards, broadened my skill set by being on the board, sourced referrals and made friends. It truly has been a joy being part of this organization.
