GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE
The Governance Committee is responsible for maintaining the capacity and effectiveness of the board through periodic review of board policies and procedures; evaluating board performance; identifying the qualities and characteristics required for effective governance and forwarding these to the Nominating Committee; and suggesting candidates for election as officers and vice presidents. The composition of the Governance Committee is mandated by our Bylaws and Policies & Procedures; all the committee members are elected or appointed.  



NOMINATING COMMITTEE

The Nominating Committee, which is chaired by the VP Governance, shall prepare, execute and monitor the nominations and elections process; notify and canvass the membership for potential officer and other leadership for the open positions; and oversee the mailing of the ballot and / or election process. The composition of the Nominating Committee is mandated by our Bylaws and Policies & Procedures; all the committee members are elected or appointed.
