WST TEAM GUIDELINES

Although each participant’s experience with Women’s Success Teams will be as unique as the participant herself, the WST Committee has listed a handful of tips and suggestions to get the most out of the Pilot Program:

  1. Stick to your action plan and create a goal calendar. This will serve as a visual reminder of your most precious resource: time.
  2. Alert your Women’s Success Team Partner when she is taking on too much. Business is business, but there needs to be time and balance for her to recharge your batteries.
  3. Understand that your growth through this program is a process and unfolds over time. Do not place unrealistic expectations on yourself or your Women’s Success Team Partner for radical change in your business life.
  4. Jettison negative self-talk and self-sabotage. You can inflict far more damage to your business through a negative, fearful, and dispirited attitude than can any outside circumstance, event, or person.
  5. Women’s Success Teams Partners can help support you through the process of change, as you get used to new and more productive work habits, and develop an even more successful public persona (especially on the days when you want to stay in bed). But you have to want to do the work and make the changes. The old adages of “Dress the part even if you don’t feel like it” and “Do it until you get used to it” definitely apply.

Member's Comment
My membership has paid off in so many ways. The three Signature Awards Programs I designed helped bring in several new clients. And my involvement with updating the current NAWBO-NYC website has generated a major project and an office space for my company.
