WST Partner Team Assignments and Initial Team Meeting: By October 26, 2006 teams will be assigned by the WST Committee. Assignments will be made mindful of participants’ personal preferences/requests, business industry and business experience. Within two weeks after having been assigned your team partner, the two of you should have an initial in-person meeting. For details on what to accomplish at the initial team meeting.

Partner Weekly Check-Ins: Weekly check-ins are a crucial part of ensuring that both team members stay on track, and remain accountable to themselves and each other. THIS IS A HIGH PRIORITY! When choosing the times and dates for your weekly-ins, do your best to make sure that they don’t get bumped off your calendar. Treat them as you would your most important meeting possible. Read up on guidelines and weekly check-in calls.

Monthly Meetings: In addition to the meetings between team members (described below), the WST Pilot Program will host a monthly meeting for all program participants, held on the second Thursday of each month (November 9 and December 14, 2006 and January 11 2007) of the Pilot Program from 8-10:00am at a location to be determined. The monthly meetings, which may include a guest speaker, will be designed to help participants get the most out of the pilot program and may include subjects such as: prioritizing goals, evaluating opportunities, planning courses of action, providing encouragement and how to offer constructive criticism.

Program Evaluation: At the conclusion of the Pilot Program, participants will be asked for their feedback, including whether they want to continue to work with their team member on an ongoing basis. The WST Committee will evaluate the insights and comments received, and will refine the program based on the feedback before full launch of program, presently anticipated in early 2007.

Program Fee: Participants will be charged $75.00 to participate in the Pilot Program. Payment must be received in full in advance of the Pilot Program launch in order for participants to be included and a partner assigned. Should we not find a match, we will refund the payment.

Being an Ideal Partner: Relationships work best when they are built on trust; here are some guidelines that will help you build a trusting relationship with your WST team partner. Creating a trusting environment is such an important part of the WST process that we insist that team partners sign a Commitment Agreement.

Member's Comment
My membership has paid off in so many ways. The three Signature Awards Programs I designed helped bring in several new clients. And my involvement with updating the current NAWBO-NYC website has generated a major project and an office space for my company.
