Honoring Women Who Made Their Mark in the New York
Business Community
The 2009 NAWBO-NYC Signature Awards Gala, our premier event of the year, will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 5:30-9:00PM at The Rainbow Room, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City
Each year, the Signature Awards honors four notable women business owners and bestows one Lifetime Achievement Award.
Signature Award winners are remarkable women business pioneers who have left their unique mark — their "signature" — on the business community.
This year, we have changed our theme to honor non-profit organizations that are being strongly led by a woman, demonstrating that non-profits can be run similar to a business to achieve financial security while serving the community.
An organization under consideration will have served as a wonderful role model to the group of extraordinary women who have become business owners and inspired us all to know that if we believe in something strongly and work exceptionally hard, we can succeed and make a difference.
Last year's event at Tribeca Rooftop honored Sachs Morgan Studio and Ann Sachs was truly magical. We believe that our 2009 gala will be exceptional. We would like to welcome our honorees for 2009 and we look forward to seeing you at the event on March 16th!
