The morning will be a conversation with Ana L Olivieira and Chloe Drew. We'll find out how they see the needs of non-profits compared with the needs of for-profit small businesses and what we can learn from each other. We'll talk about relationships and loyalty, technology, the internet, email marketing, and more.
You will have an opportunity to be a part of this engaging conversation with two of the Signature Award Honorees and go to your office with new valuable insights that you can use right away.
Ana L. Oliveira (www.nywf.org) became President and CEO of The New York women's Foundation in February, 2006, on the eve of its 20th Anniversary. The organization is a cross-cultural alliance of women helping low-income women and girls in he five boroughs to achieve sustained economic security through expanded opportunities. They work together to trnsform the conditions of poverty and to create an equal and just future for low-income women and girls.
Ana was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil and reside in Manhattan. She has an M.A. in Medical Antrhopolgy fomr the New School for Social Research and is a Licensed Acupuncturist.
Chloe Drew (www.nycup.org) is the Executive Direcor of The council of Urban Professionals (CUP), a New York based non profit organization representing the social, political and economic interests of minority and women professionals. CUP administers a multimillion dollar portfolio of results - oriented initiatives that advance leadership development, education reform, and access to capital for minority and women owned and led business.
Chloe earned an A.B. from Harvard University, where she concentrated in History and Literature and ws on the varsity cross country and track & field teams.
