Dawn M. Fotopulos has spent over two decades as a senior executive, serial entrepreneur, college professor, and advisor to principals of large and small private and publicly held companies. Her clients have included: Primedia Magazines, Citicorp Consumer and Corporate Banks, ING Barings/ Furman Selz Prime Brokerage, Beecham Inc., World Relief, and Neuberger Berman. She earned her Bachelors Degree from Cornell University, and her MBA in Management with distinction, from the Executive Programs at the Stern School of Business at NYU. She has successfully launched over eighty different businesses and product lines across a spectrum of industries including; financial services, consumer products, real estate development, high technology, and non-profits.
Ms. Fotopulos spent the first third of her career in consumer product marketing working for Beecham, Inc., in Chicago, Illinois. In her twenties, she successfully launched Bedazzled, Inc. a fun wear company. Bedazzled screen-printed copyrighted active wear designs for Lands End Yacht Stores and hundreds of exclusive boutiques and retailers across the United States and the Caribbean.
In the early nineties, Ms. Fotopulos joined Citibank first as a consultant to the Director of the Consumer Bank, then as Vice President, Sale Planning. In her tenure at Citicorp, she launched the Corporate Card Product Group, the fastest growing and most profitable product line in the institution. She became a turnaround specialist in the Consumer Banks branch network, instituting telemarketing, and branch-based seminars to launch investment products and to recapture eroding market share. She is founder and principal of DF Consulting, Inc., which advises key executives on management and marketing strategy. The organization lives to serve small and medium sized, privately held companies looking to accelerate profitability. Her passion is to equip entrepreneurs, the lifeblood of the US economy, and the engine of innovation, meet their full potential.
Ms. Fotopulos has been a visiting professor at Columbia Business School, an adjunct professor at the Stern School of Business at New York University, and currently is a faculty member of business at The Kings College in New York City.
