I just wanted to tell you that yesterday's Public Policy Event was terrific.
Although noone covered the questions that you posed, the representatives of
the various corporations and city departments were fantastic. They made sure
to listen to each of us and offer suggestions individually. Couldn't have
been better. They were also very honest about what they buy and don't buy,
where there's an over abundance of suppliers in an area, etc. I know that I
learned a lot and met people who have the ability to point me in the right
direction.  I also, intend to get certified asap!!

You guys rock!

The event was very unique and I really liked the idea of rotating the participants. Information on the Certification process was very helpful. NAWBO - Thank you for giving us the chance to network.

It was a tremendous experience for me to work on the NAWBO-NYC Public Policy Committee. My colleagues on the committee took my simple idea that people just have to meet and get to know each other to be able and willing to do business with each other - and ran with it.

The morning was an inspiring celebration of unity.

Thank you,

Renee

I enjoyed the event because of the small table size. I felt participants were really getting to meet the suppliers and were able to understand if they could be of service to that supplier.
